They have to convince people to buy Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty this time around. The memories of Cyberpunk 2077’s bugs and glitches are still fresh. Numerous performance issues, bad optimization, glitches, and progress-halting bugs met fans when they excitedly launched Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time back in 2020. Developer CD Projekt Red instantly got to work trying to fix that travesty, but they were somewhat late. The game’s condition and its broken promises quickly became the center of conversations everywhere.

They did work hard to fix it, though, and they claim that with update 2.0, they have overhauled the game so much that it’s pretty much a new game. The game pretty much changes everything; it changes the controls. It changes skills; they added a bunch of new perks. They even mentioned that pretty much each spot on the new skill tree had something new to offer players. Finally, they have added a new movement system, allowing for faster and more dynamic vehicular combat.

Changing a game’s mechanics so long after its launch might sound weird to some gamers, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has been evolving since its launch. And even though it’s a game that is loved by many, it still has a bunch of flaws. That’s why it’s only good that CD Projekt Red decided to fix it before the DLC drops.

But the big news is that this DLC is said to be so heavy on PCs that developers have requested that gamers check their PC’s cooling before playing it.
