The world of Valorant is no stranger to celebrities joining in the festivities. Shang-Chi star Simu Liu is just the latest in a line of celebrities who enjoy the title. With the game rising to new levels in the three years after launch, it looks like its roster of celebrity fans keeps on growing.

The love of celebrities was clear at the Valorant Champions Tour. Billionaire and X owner Elon Musk made an appearance at VCT along with his son. Musk posed for photos as he carried out his daddy duties with his son in his arms.

Elon Musk makes an appearance at the Valorant Champions Tour

As the Valorant Champions Tour culminated into the final event, the crowd was rearing to go. Evil Geniuses took on Paper Rex at the Kia Forum arena in front of a full crowd. As fans at the event would realize, sitting with them was billionaire and tech mogul Elon Musk, with his son!

Musk appeared alongside his son, taking care of him as he answered questions during interviews. Just a little while later, fans saw Musk finding his seat in the arena to watch the Evil Geniuses lift the trophy. Talk about a fanboy moment!

While some fans were surprised by Musk’s appearance, others found it fitting. Twitter had close ties with Riot Games. The two worked together during the launch of Arcane as well as with the League of Legends World Championship.  With Musk’s love for gaming being well-known among gamers, fans felt he would show up at the event.  Besides, X’s headquarters in California is only a few hours away from Kia Forum, making it convenient for Musk.

It could even mean more future collaborations between X and Valorant, now that Elon Musk appeared at the event. Fans can only hope to see updates follow in the future!

Batman shows up at the event

It looks like Elon Musk was not the only celebrity at the event. After hanging the cowl, former Batman actor Ben Affleck was also spotted at the arena. Affleck, along with his kids, was purchasing merchandise available at the event!

As celebrities continue to appear at events such as these, it goes on to show the level of e-sports has reached over the years. It is no longer just a niche group that follows e-sports such as Valorant and CS: GO. It spells positive things for a growing community of gamers as e-sports become more and more prominent all over the world!
