Preview
The Los Angeles Lakers will be travelling to Dallas to face the Mavericks on Friday without their leading scorer Anthony Davis. Davis suffered a back injury in their previous game against New York Knicks. The 26-year old is listed as questionable for the game against Mavericks. In the absence of Davis, LeBron James will have to do with others for the game. James has averaged 25.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game apart from leading the league in assists with 10.8 assists per game. Kyle Kuzma is expected to take Davis’ place as the Lakers look to strengthen their place in the Western Conference. Their 30 wins in the season so far is currently four more than the next best in their Conference.
Their Friday’s opponents, Mavericks, are sixth in the Western Conference with a win-loss record of 23-14. Like Lakers, they have their own injury worries in the form of Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis started giving better return in the absence of Luka Doncic, but was unfortunately injured soon after. Doncic will once again take the centre-stage in Dallas. The 20-year old is averaging close to a triple-double with 29.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9 assists per game.

Predictions
Although the Maverick have looked a great side at times, they have been a little inconsistent. But with their opponents without their top scorer, the Mavericks will be fancying their chances on Friday at home.
