At a time where much of the sport is about the menacing talent of Lewis and Ferrari’s attempts to stop the carnage, Red Bull provide a cushion for expansion.

Make no mistake. Red Bull aren’t here to play the joker of the pack. They are here to win. It’s as simple as that. Ever since Max Verstappen joined in the force, it can be said, he’s upped the ante of competition at the team. Has he not?

In 2018, when he helped the Christian Horner-outfit win its maiden Austrian GP (home race) a thing became clear. It became apparent that at a time where much of the victories fell in either Mercedes or Ferrari’s lap, Mad Max couldn’t be sidelined.

Noted for his consecutive victories in the revered FIA Formula 3 World Cup that took place in Macau in 2017 and 2018, the youngster would be raring to go. To elaborate more on the youngster, revered platform Autosport shared the following:

He was initially slated to drive for the team last year but did not have the super license points required for the necessary testing license.

Ticktum was also briefly in contention for a Toro Rosso F1 drive for this season, having been named as a contender during his title-challenging European Formula 3 campaign last year.
