Dana White has come out on several occasions to try and stop all the false news that’s surrounding UFC 249.

In a new pop up, a “Fake” Ariel Helwani has come out and said on Twitter that, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Dana white have come to an agreement. They will join forces to try and have Khabib fly out of Russia. Ariel Helwani said this keeping in mind the current travel bans in place. Dana White to shut this rumor down went on and replied to the fake account of Ariel Helwani as well!

Earlier on in the UFC 249 saga, Khabib came out to say that he won’t be able to leave Russia. This will result in him not being able to make an appearance and therefore cancellation of the fight.

Either way, With or without Khabib, Dana White is keen on making this event happen. Dana White has tried every possible scenario that will lead to UFC 249 actually happening. He will not disclose the location of the even. It will happen without the presence of a live audience. He has even gone to the extent of arranging an absolutely new line up of fights for this event.

Dana at this point is a stubborn bull and will have this happen at any cost. He will not let the pandemic stop him.
Dana White has called false news on Ariel Helwani’s tweet. He said, “Absolutely NOT true!!! The card is happening, but TeamKhabib is out. I will announce the entire card tomorrow.”

White has faced a lot of issues pertaining to UFC 249. COVID-19 being at the center of this. Fighters have pulled out over the last few weeks. But also, a lot of fighters have stepped up and come to the event’s rescue.
