Daniel Cormier Challenged Brock Lesnar Again to Step into the Ring

About a year ago, Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar cut arguably the biggest promo in UFC history and it started with Cormier calling out Lesnar to step into the octagon. Lesnar and Cormier were supposed to fight each other for the prestigious heavyweight championship inside the octagon. Lesnar even got back into USADA testing pool for the super fight.

However, that fight fell apart when Lesnar accepted the offer from WWE and decided to stick with pro wrestling. Well, Cormier is challenging Lesnar to step into the ring again, but this time he wants Lesnar to face former UFC champion, Cain Velasquez.

Cain Velasquez fought in Lucha Libre event after his loss to Francis Velasquez. Velasquez was always fascinated with pro wrestling and he has even trained in WWW performance center for a meaningful period in the past. However, nobody was expecting the former heavyweight champion to get make his first appearance on WWE last night.

After Brock Lesnar defeated Kofi Kingston for the WWW world championship on the first SmackDown on Fox, Velasquez entered the arena with Rey Mysterio, shocking the entire WWE universe along with the Beast Incarnate. Velasquez then stepped into the ring and took Lesnar down before hurting Lensnar with vicious ground and pound.

Daniel Cormier has been very supportive of Velasquez deciding to try his luck in pro wrestling and surprisingly Velasquez seems to be a natural at this game. Velasquez has destroyed Brock Lesnar within one round inside the UFC octagon when they fought each other back in UFC 121. Well, Cormier took a jab at Lesnar on social media and challenged him to step into the ring with Velasquez.

Reportedly, Daniel Cormier has announced that he would fight Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight championship in his retirement fight. However, Miocic is healing up from an eye injury at the moment and would be ready to run it back in early next year.
