Daniel Cormier is aching to get his trilogy fight with Stipe Miocic over with. He constantly talks about the timeline of the event, which will probably be his last as a fighter.

However, Stipe’s duty as a paramedic-firefighter comes above everything else for him. And especially with the coronavirus pandemic not showing any signs of slowing down, his duties as a frontline fighter are of extreme importance.

Moreover, “The Silencer” does not have access to gyms at present. This means that he can’t train for the fight. And being the technical fighter that he is, he does not want to get into the Octagon without a proper training camp.

Yet, Cormier does not want to keep pushing the date. In a recent Tweet, he again reached out to Miocic. This time, he had a suggestion for his training problems.

Daniel Cormier, looking forward to the fight, provides Stipe with “input” to speed up the process

In his Tweet, Cormier wrote:

“Hey[,] champ [Stipe Miocic]. I just got a message from Kyle from Zebra Mats he wanted to tell you this. ‘Tell Stipe I can get him mats and a cage wall in 5 days. Sign the bout agreement and give me a credit card number’.”

Very clearly, fans too, want the heavyweight title trilogy to take place as soon as possible. In fact, “Kyle from Zebra mats” too, became part of the conversation. Replying to Forrest Griffin’s, “Sh*ttttt champ gotta pay”, Kyle Fisher replied,

“Bro, I’m trying to make a buck[.] I [have] got employees to feed.”

While this does seem like a viable option, Stipe made it clear that he will only fight after attending a proper training camp.

Moreover, while many fans want the fight to start as soon as possible, many believe that DC should also wait just like he made Stipe wait.
