@Gael_Monfils in two sports in ‘24 Olympics?????,” tweeted Medvedev. Apart from his athleticism, Monfils is known for his spectacular dancing skills as well.

Interestingly, Monfils uploaded a video on his Twitter feed recently to show off his mind-blowing dancing skills. The Frenchman performed some entertaining dance moves with his fellow compatriot, having fun next to a swimming pool.

The video got people reminiscing about the 2014 French Open when Monfils enthralled the spectators by indulging in a crazy dance battle on-court alongside Laurent Lokoli.

Medvedev’s tweet made everyone amused on Twitter, with most people replying with laughing emojis. In fact, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing will make their debut at next year’s Tokyo Olympics.

Originally scheduled in 2020 July, the Tokyo Olympics got postponed to next year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Breakdancing’s inclusion is expected to attract young audiences to the multi-sport international event. The 2024 Paris Olympics will witness 16 b-boys and 16 b-girls compete in a one vs one battle.

At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Monfils lost to Kei Nishikori in the quarterfinals despite having three match points in the third set tiebreak. With the 2021 Australian Open to start from February, Monfils will aim to reach the latter stages of the tournament after a disappointing second half of the 2020 season.
