Los Angeles Lakers are known to have agreed to a deal with veteran guard Darren Collison.

The Lakers have been linked to many veteran guards recently. The immediate need for one seemed evident during the busy festive period where they lost four consecutive games for the first time in the season. The need for options beyond LeBron James and Anthony Davis felt necessary. Although the duo has been consistent, they will be needing load management.

Players like DJ Augustin and Darren Collinson have been linked with a move to the Lakers.

Collison played college basketball for the University of California’s UCLA Bruins team.
