Social media has allowed promotions to boost their appeal to a wider base of fans, and the Professional Fighters League (PFL) is taking full advantage.

The PFL recently picked up an award for “Use of Instagram” handed out at the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards in August, which is the industry’s premier business awards. It brings together the biggest names from across the sports ecosystem. More importantly, it honors and showcases the best work in the industry.

PFL’s submission bested those produced by theScore, WWE, Bleacher Report’s House of Highlights, and FOX Sports. It featured the digital animation work of artists RayRod and KutKraft with incredible knockouts.

In 2019, the PFL Network featured a plus-300 percent growth in year-over-year engagement on Instagram. But it wasn’t just Instagram where the most innovative and fastest-growing league in the world shined.

On Facebook in 2020, the PFL has featured a 2000 percent greater interaction rate between fight fans, fighters, and the promotion in general.
