One of the guest hosts asks Dame the question on every NBA fan’s mind, ” Is a ring something you desire before you leave?”. “Yeah that’s I mean that’s what we play for that’s what I play for you know it’s that’s why I train hard that’s why I even come back how I come back you know that’s that’s what we go for and I.. I think that goes for everybody,” said Lillard.
He further added, “When I look at my resume in the end you know of course I want it to be like she said gold medal seven times or eight whatever how many times all NBA All-Star and you know you want to have NBA champion on there and also I think everybody wants to experience that parade and being on the float and you know making whatever City proud.”
Lillard concluded by saying he puts his “best foot forward,” and if it still doesn’t happen, it isn’t “be all end all.”
Dame Draws Comparisons to Charles Barkley and Karl Malone
Both Karl Malone and Charles Barkley are Hall of Famers. Most player’s careers pale in comparison to their contributions to the game. The round mound of Rebound a.k.a Charles Barkley has won a league MVP and played for two teams in his NBA career, his resume includes also 11 all-star appearances. Whereas Karl Malone is a two-time league MVP and 14-time all-star. However, neither of them ever won a ring in their career. Dame talks about their greatness and draws comparisons to himself.
