Preview-

Only a few weeks back, Minnesota Timberwolves seemed to be the surprise package with a good start to the season. It however did not last long as they now find themselves 12th in the Eastern Conference after losing eight consecutive games. Their last win in the league was against San Antonio Spurs at the start of the month. Their quest to break the losing streak isn’t getting any easier with a trip to Denver on Friday.

The Nuggets previous victory against Orlando Magic extended their run to four consecutive victories. Friday’s game against Wolves would be their fifth consecutive home game, after which they will travel to Los Angeles visit the Western Conference leaders- Lakers.

Expected starting line-up: Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins, Treveon Graham, Josh Okogie, Gorgui Dieng

Predictions-

All the hype around Karl Anthony Towns seems to have died down now that he is injured and his team has hardly seen a win in recent times. Andrew Wiggins also seemed to have gone down a little. However, he was in the team’s highest scorer in the last game with the 27 points on the night. Their scoring, already in a disappointing situation, might further go down on Friday against one of the best defences in the league.

It seemed as thought the Nuggets were slipping a little, but they are once again looking like a top team. Star centre Nikola Jokic has been a significant presence on both ends of the court. Jamal Murray’s scoring contribution was 33 in the last game, and the duo are likely to take the Nuggets home once again on Friday.
