Preview-

Denver Nuggets, having finished second in the Western Conference last season, currently occupy the same position after 15 games. Their win-loss record of 12-3 is not far from the top placed Lakers, who have the best record in the league so far.

With their 116-104 wins over the Suns on Sunday extended their winning streak to five games. Millsap scored a total of 23 points on the night. Nikola Jokic, whose performances demanded improvement in the season, has also managed some decent numbers in the last few games. He grabbed 13 rebounds along with scoring eight points in the victory against Phoenix.

The Wizards, on the other hand, are not amongst the top teams in the league. Their 5-9 record places them ninth in the Eastern Conference. They average the league’s second highest 119 points per game. However, their defence has let them down on multiple occasions. They will be coming into Tuesday’s game after a 113-106 loss to Sacramento Kings. And they will be facing the league stingiest defence that has let just below 102 points per game.

Not only are the Nuggets stingy, they are also heavy scorers if not the heaviest. All of their starters average in double digits in the season so far. Off them Jamal Murray has the highest average with 19 points per game for the season. He also has averages five assists per game to add to it. For the wizards, the highest scorer so far has been Bradley Beal, who has been averaging 29.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
