The Solstice of Heroes event has finally arrived and Destiny 2 fans have already completed some activities for Week 1. The event revolves around improving glowing armor sets from Renewed to Majestic and then to Magnificent. Along with that, players can also gain tons of other rewards as well.

The biggest reward from the Solstice of Heroes event is the Compass Rose Shotgun. It is the keystone weapon of the event, and it is available from the main quest. It will also drop from chests in the European Aerial Zone (EAZ). Players will receive random rolls of it until the end of the event on August 3.

What are some of the good rolls for the Compass Rose in Destiny 2?

The Compass Rose is a 65 RPM Precision Frame Shotgun in Destiny 2. This is a bit confusing for players as the weapon shoots a pellet spread, and this archetype is currently quite rare in the game. The archetype has great starting range, and it does slightly less damage than the Aggressive Frame Shotguns like the Astral. But it does more damage than the Lightweight Frame guns like the Seventh Seraph Shotgun.

The first row of perks includes an assortment of barrels for the weapon. For a PvP weapon, players need to find ones which include Rifled Barrel or Full Choke. For a PvE role, players definitely need to move away from Full Choke. Along with that in the second row, Accurized Rounds are the way to go for a PvP variant with the Extended Mag for a PvE shotgun. Additionally, the Assault Mag will work on both modes.

God Rolls for PvE and PvP modes

For the third slot, the Lead From Gold perk helps in builds revolving around a Heavy as picking up Heavy ammo helps the Compass Rose as well. Similarly, Surplus is also a great perk for PvE and PvP as it helps improve handling, reload speed and stability. In the fourth slot, One For All, Snapshots, Trench Barrel are some of the best rolls to go after.

In the PvP mode, the God Roll for the Compass Rose Shotgun will have perks like Full Choke, Assault Mag, Surplus and Vorpal Weapon. Following the shotgun nerf, this archetype will shred players in the crucible. In the PvE mode, the God Roll will include any barrel except for the Full Choke, Assault Mag, Field Prep and One For All. Fans will have a lot of fun using this in their in various events.
