Turning 44 this August, Brady is still focused on improving his craft. But of late, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback seems to have picked up a new interest. 

With the cryptocurrency boom taking over the world, seems like Tom Brady didn’t want to feel left out. The quarterback has previously hinted at his interest in the crypto wave.

And in a recent interview, he declared his support for the new era of digital currency.  

Tom Brady a big believer in crypto wave

In a video interview with FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, as part of an event at CoinDesk’s Consensus 2021 forum, Brady said he is a big believer in the crypto wave.

“I’m a big believer in [crypto],” Brady said. When asked whether he’d plunged into the crypto market himself, the quarterback responded with an affirmative yes. “I definitely have,” he said.

And Brady doesn’t seem to be the only one in the NFL world to be involved in the realm of cryptocurrencies. The QB said that he has frequent chats about the market with one of his coaches at Tampa.

Brady recently made a splash in the NFT community as well. Launching an NFT company named ‘Autograph’, Brady hopes to connect with more of his fans going forward.

“Understanding that the kids now in the digital age, you know, are going to want so many things at their disposal on their devices, it’s a great opportunity to be involved in that for unique collectibles, but really to provide great experiences for different fans and collectors,” Brady said.
