Nick Kyrgios Responds To Novak Djokovic’s Father
Novak Djokovic’s father blamed Grigor Dimitrov for the recent COVID-19 cases amongst the tennis players. He said that the man came sick from somewhere and that he was not tested in Croatia but somewhere else. He went on to say that Grigor caused a great deal of damage by playing the tournament.
Nick Kyrgios was not too happy when he saw these statements and decided to address them. On his Instagram story, he wrote, “Nah bruh don’t try and push the blame.”
This was something to be expected from the Australian as he was not happy about any event taking place during this pandemic. In addition to that, he was also critical about the fact that no one was following social distancing protocols. Here, he was referring to the parties that were held during the event.

Some other players were worried about what effect will the COVID-19 cases have on the ATP Tour. They even said that the ATP Tour might cancel the remaining events because of these cases. So far, the ATP has not indicated that in any way but they will be expected to increase the safety measures at the events.
Above all, everyone will be hoping that the players infected will recover soon. Despite his criticism, even Nick Kyrgios has said that he is hoping for the same. And hopefully, that is exactly what will happen so we can see them play on the ATP Tour when it returns in August.
