Double XP Event Starts Across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season One

As a holiday gift, Activision offered fans some parts of its latest Call of Duty game, Black Ops Cold War, for free. This included a double XP event for everyone playing the game, be it players trying out the game for free, or those who have purchased it.

After the holiday event that ended before Christmas, the developers now have another event for the players. Under a cross-studio collaboration, the developers recently integrated Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. The games follow similar weapon mechanics and also have a common Battle Pass progression.

Activision released Season One for both these games over a week ago. Now, as 2020 comes to an end, the studio has a parting gift for the community. It has introduced another double battle pass XP event across both games.

Double XP event is live in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone till December 28

A few hours ago, Treyarch took to Twitter to give players a Christmas gift. It informed Cold War and Warzone players that the double battle pass XP event is now live for both games. The studio signed off saying they have more double XP coming to “close out the year.

Players can make the most of the event as it comes on a weekend during the holidays. The event will last till December 28, 10 AM PT. Moreover, with lots of fresh and interesting content across both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, fans have a lot of things to play. Warzone now features the all-new Rebirth Island map, which is much smaller than Verdansk, thereby pushing for more fast-paced gameplay.

Cold War has new multiplayer playlists with the addition of Nuketown Holiday as well as Raid the Mall. All of these MP playlists have fun and dynamic gameplay that will keep players hooked for a long while.

Players can grind both games or either one in order to gain as much XP as they can to max out their battle pass. With the latest integration, this becomes much easier and grants many exciting rewards. So without further ado, get to the grind and put the free holiday time to some use.
