The Classic is a newly introduced event in the DP World Tour since the postponement of the Qatar Masters. Nicolai won the Championship with a score of 24-under 264. Meanwhile, England’s Jordan Smith secured the second position with a 20-under par score.

The purse money of the Classic

After the two rounds of the Classic, last week’s winner, Nicolai Hojgaard, couldn’t make the cut, whereas the second place winner Jordan Smith is tied at 74th place. Although the events are played at the same course, after two rounds, it clearly shows that there are a lot of differences between the Classic and the Championship.
