Dr Disrespect has sparked a controversy within the gaming community with his remarks on mobile gaming, yet again. In a recent tweet, Doc boasted his expensive PC setup, and took a sly dig at mobile gaming.
Earlier this year, Doc had even showed off his new $315,000 PC in a video:
“I’ve got 3 state-of-the-art 1ms speed color calibrated monitors staring at me, a keyboard with titan switch optical keystrokes and a mouse that weighs literally nothing backed by a 200k multi PC setup….
“….and you have the guts to tell me mobile gaming is a serious thing?”
It is not a surprise that several mobile gamers have reacted to Doc’s tweet already. Interestingly, one of the biggest Call of Duty Mobile content creators, Luke ‘iFerg’ Fergie, has challenged Dr Disrespect for a 1v1 in the game.
“1v1 on COD Mobile for $100,000 You on your PC and I’ll play mobile.”
Professional PUBG Mobile player for team Xset, Juicy, also rejected the claims of the Two-Time. He called Dr Disrespect an ‘Old Man’ and further said that mobile gaming is too difficult for his ‘old crusty’ fingers.
Surprisingly, this is not the first time Dr Disrespect has spoken against mobile gaming. Back in 2019, the streamer had claimed mobile gamers aren’t real gamers. Naturally, this led to a heated debate amongst the two factions of gaming.
However, this feud soon ended when Dr Disrespect played with popular PUBG mobile professional Tanmay ‘Sc0ut’ Singh. Dr Disrespect clarified on his stream, “Not sure if you ever saw my tweet, so I just want to get ahead of the controversy, about me saying that mobile gamers aren’t real gamers.”
He added, “It was a spur moment. I just want to make sure that I get ahead of it.”
Sc0ut is one of the most popular mobile players in India with over 3 million subscribers on YouTube. Doc’s collaboration with a famous mobile gaming entity had convinced the fans he’s finally ahead of the controversy.
To say the least, Doc’s latest tweet is a shocker. Owing to the backlash from several mobile content creators, the streamer might have to defend his words soon.
Do you think Dr Disrespect will 1v1 a mobile creator like iFerg for a whopping $100,000?
