The much-awaited announcement is finally here! Herschel ‘DrDisrespect’ Beahm has dropped the details about his 5th annual Halloween contest known as ‘Doctober‘. Every year, around Halloween, Dr Disrespect conducts a cosplay event for fans. It is an opportunity for his fans to show off their best ‘Two Time’ look.

This year’s Doctober is going to be different than the rest in many ways. Additionally, the prizes for this year’s event are also loaded. To aid the cosplay of those who cannot put the time and effort into making the costumes, Doc has also released official merch on ChampionsClub.gg.

The costume set contains his classic headsets (non-functional), Metal Butterfly Comb, Prototype Scopes (Sunglasses), Poisonous Caterpillar (Moustache), Steel Mullet (Wig), and Red Tactical Vest w/ Velcro Logo Patch.

Violence, Speed, Momentum. Become Dr Disrespect

Following Doc’s famous tagline – Violence, Speed, Momentum, the contest encourages fans to “Become the Doc”. Since fans can purchase a full-fledged costume set online, there will be other parameters behind Doc’s judgment.

Although the ‘How To Play’ section of the event merely asks fans to “dress up in the best DrDisrespect costume you can think of” and tweet the photo with the #doctober hashtag, the participants would have to stand out in order to win.

The Doctober trailer asks fans to “step into the role of the Two Time”, which can probably mean that participants will have to plan well-scripted skits to amuse Doc. Moreover, Herschel definitely values the time and efforts of his followers, and hence, he is willing to reward them generously for winning the event.

Doctober is loaded with rewards

Starting with the third place, prizes include the Stealth 600 Gen 2 headsets from TurtleBeach, Roccat ELO USB headsets, Vulcan TKL keyboard, Kain 120 mouse, a signed T-shirt, and a signed poster. The second-place winner would get similar prizes with an upgrade on the Stealth to 700 Gen 2, the Pro version of the Vulcan TKL, and the Kain 200.

For the first place, the winner will receive a set of eight prizes. The set will contain the usual poster, t-shirt, and the ELO headset like the rest of the winners. Apart from those, they would also get the Vulcan Pro and the Kain 200 similar to the second-place winner. However, in addition to all of those, the first prize includes an Elite Areao headset and stand with a Sense XXL Mousepad.

These prizes are definitely worth investing in the time and effort to become the Doc. The participants have enough time to prepare and submit their entries before Dr Disrespect announces the results. Till then, they can give their best shot at their impression of the ‘Two Time’.
