Dr Disrespect is designing a map after a long gap

After returning to YouTube, Doc expressed his interest in Rogue Company by coming up with an idea for a map design for the game. Dr Disrespect has previously designed maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. So, he was quite serious about this one.

Doc started by working on a 2D model of the map which he had released on Twitter over a month back. It received mixed reviews, but the developers of Rogue Company were quick to respond and ask him to create a 3D blueprint.

Doc shared the 3D images of his design just a couple of days later and named it ‘The Arena’. The map’s design is fundamental in nature. It is much like the maps he has designed before, with three lanes and choking points at the corners.

The art design looks phenomenal, and it’s possible that he designed the map to promote aggressive firefights and to make combat more interesting. Moreover, this isn’t the first time that devs have collaborated with gamers to produce content for video games.
