Call of Duty Warzone is not an entirely different battle royale game; however, it does offer a different experience to its players. The combat, the mechanics, and even the movement are very different from Fortnite, PUBG, and even Apex Legends for that matter. Although, there is one particular feature that sets it apart from all the other BR games: The Gulag.

Literally translated as a Russian word for ‘prison’, the Gulag is where the players are sent in the game after they die. This is where two random players come face to face with each other in a bid to get back into the game. Both the players are given the same weapon and utilities and the one who gets first blood, wins. This is very different from Fortnite’s Reboot Van or Apex Legends’ Respawn Beacon.

Clearly, this is a great addition to the game, which makes the combat even more exhilarating. Now, Dr Disrespect has offered to design the next Gulag, and Activision should really consider it.

The only reason why Activision should really consider this is because Dr Disrespect can actually pull it off. Recently, he collaborated with Rogue Company to design his own map in the game called ‘The Arena’. According to him, the map is based on his actual location from where he streams. The map was a huge success and Doc even got his own skin in the game.

Another reason why Doc can do this is that he has worked at Sledgehammer Games as a Level Designer. Consequently, not only does Doc have in-depth knowledge of designing maps but is also well versed with the entire Call of duty franchise. During his time there, Doc worked on and designed several multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Doc definitely has the technical expertise, knowledge, and skill to take this up. However, his relationship with Activision has always been questionable. Even though he is one of the biggest Warzone streamers, he not being a Call of Duty partner is still very curious.

This could be a possible way for Doc and Activision to start a long-term partnership. Additionally, the Black Ops Cold War Season 1 already has a new Gulag. Maybe, Doc’s idea for the new Gulag can come with the next big update. Since he has already designed a map for one game this year, this possibility cannot be ruled out.
