Even though the developer hasn’t opened up on the event at all, some prominent journalists and insiders seem confident that E3 2021 will be ground-breaking for the future of the title.

Canadian video game journalist Geoff Keighley is one of the most trustworthy names in the gaming industry. He founded The Game Awards in 2014, and also hosts them every year.

Fans of Elden Ring world had sky-scraping expectations from the 2020 edition of The Game Awards. They were expecting Geoff Keighley to reveal the game, but to their disappointment, the host did not show any footage related to it.
This incident led to the community making memes on Geoff that claimed him to be in a ‘gamer prison.’
Interestingly, Keighley recently tweeted that he’ll finally break free. While a majority of his followers couldn’t understand this random statement, loyal fans of Elden Ring took no time to decipher the reference.

When it comes to single-player action RPGs, FromSoftware is easily one of the best developers in the world. Over the years, it has released titles like Bloodbourne, Sekiro, Demon’s Souls, and Dark Souls 3, among others. All these games have defined the genre, and are all-time classics.
Elden Ring can either combine the best aspects of FromSoftware’s most successful titles, or end up being an entirely new experience. The best way to clear such doubts will be a trailer, and fans wouldn’t want to settle with anything less at E3 2021.
