EA Announce Exciting News for Battlefield 6

Last week Dice revealed they were working on the final update for Battlefield 5. The upcoming update would include new content and some tweaks and would be the last one for the title. Dice senior producer Ryan McArthur stated they were “still tackling the challenges from working from home”, but were hopeful of releasing the update in June. EA Make Battlefield 6 Release Announcement

Dice had some wonderful news for the fans. The developers confirmed they would then turn their attention towards the sequel, Battlefield 6, once the update was done with.

Twitch Announce Bad News for Fake Valorant Streamers

Back in October 2019, Electronic Arts had announced that Battlefield 6 would release sometime between April 2021 and March 2022. The same window was announced during EA’s quarterly call in January.

Now, however, there is a change in the window of the potential release. If there was a change in the offing, fans were expecting something negative given the current global health crisis. Fortunately, EA has narrowed down the window. Battlefield 6 will now release between April 2021 to December 2021.

“The team at DICE is working on the standalone Battlefield V update releasing this summer, and continuing their work on delivering Community Games. While the studio’s vision for Star Wars Battlefront II is now complete with this week’s The Battle on Scarif Update, the servers, in-game challenges, recurring events, and game support will continue as the game lives on with players and the community. We’re looking forward to hearing players’ stories for both games, for years to come. Longer-term, the studio is focused on the future of Battlefield that we’ll be bringing to players in 2021.”

In other news, EA also announced a little while back that they were releasing five huge titles from their library on to Google’s cloud gaming platform, Stadia. This will include massively popular games like FIFA, Madden, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
