The one thing to notice here is that the EA Play library is only available to Ultimate members. The regular Game Pass subscribers will not have this option. Both the offerings have a $5 price difference. As a result, it looks like Microsoft wants people to get more subscriptions for the Game Pass Ultimate. It also seems like a good deal considering the Game Pass Ultimate also offers access to the xCloud service. This will definitely give the potential consumers an added incentive to go for the premium option.
Microsoft’s latest acquisition of Bethesda and many other studios also spells great news for subscribers. For instance, Doom Eternal is set to be the first game to arrive to the Game Pass soon. This will be yet another reason for people to sign up for this subscription service. Microsoft is looking to change the way people perceive games and it seems they are doing a great job so far.
