The saturation of titles in the Battle Royale genre used to be a common complaint among the gaming community. There was a time when titles like Blackout, Fortnite, and PUBG were all in their prime, gradually causing a rising disinterest in the community for the genre.
However, the situation is quite different now. With Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Call of Duty Warzone being the only standing Battle Royale titles, there is little to no competition among labels as well as the titles in terms of improvement.

By now it has become a standing complaint of the community that hackers and cheaters have infected Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale counterpart. Even after the entire community voiced its complaints, devs have done little to curb the issue.
According to Dr Disrespect, the release of Battlefield 6 might just give Activision more incentive to work on making Warzone even better. Furthermore, EA is leaving no stone unturned in the development of Battlefield 6. Doc says in his stream, “I think they (EA) can do something incredible. I think they’ve just put everything into it.”
