According to reports, Elden Ring has been topping the list of best sellers for a pretty long time now. It has been the best-selling premium game of this year until now and even surpassed last year’s topper, Call of Duty Vanguard. Another recent update was of Elden Ring entering the list of top 10 best-selling video games (US) of all time. And this happens to be the most prestigious feat the game has achieved until now!

Mat Piscatella, a spokesperson for US NPD, which is a reputable market research organization, has revealed Elden Ring’s newest feat. Alongside the same, Piscatella also revealed that the game is still topping the best-selling premium game chart for 2022, according to data until July (YOD).

In addition, the game has also managed to place first in dollar sales for 4 out of 5 months since its release.

With Elden Ring’s biggest contender, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, releasing in October, things may change a bit. However, according to NPD’s last analysis, the popular RPG is expected to pull off its success until the end of 2022. It’s unlikely that Modern Warfare II will be able to overtake it.
