While the signature logo of the Japanese retail brand appears prominently in red on the shirt, Federer’s trademark ‘RF’ logo is conspicuous by its absence.
The ensemble consists of the shirt, shorts, headband, socks and wristband — all in flawless white.

The apparel major had recently put together two exquisitely designed pieces for the 20-time Grand Slam champion ahead of his return to clay court action in Geneva.
Crafted by noted designer Christophe Lemaire, the creative brain behind Uniqlo U, the set of tennis wear for the Swiss was complete with a signature headband embossed with the Uniqlo label, caps bearing his trademark initials ‘RF’, wristbands and socks.

Federer withdrew after reaching the third round at French Open
Apart from the obvious difference in color scheming, one major departure that the Wimbledon ensemble has from the clay pieces is the absence of the Federer logo.
After a delayed start to the season on account of recovery from a knee surgery he underwent last year, Federer had just one win from three Tour matches going into the French Open.
However, the new outfit seemed to have brought new luck to the 39-year-old Swiss as he recorded three wins on the bounce to reach the tournament’s last-16.
But just when it seemed that Federer was in the mood to make a serious dash for the title, he withdrew from the men’s draw on the advice of his team.

Reports suggested that he felt some pain in the knee where the surgery was performed during his hard-fought win in the third round over German Dominik Koepfer and wanted to rest it well before going into Wimbledon.
