The US Open champion Emma Raducanu is still basking in the glory of her historic triumph. Having become an overnight superstar after winning the US Open, Raducanu has brands waiting to sign her on her doorstep.

Dior, the French luxury fashion house, has announced Raducanu as their brand ambassador. The British teenager would be the face of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s womenswear collections and the brand’s skincare and make-up offering, overseen by Peter Philips.

Emma Raducanu: Dior’s brand ambassador

Interestingly, it all began with Raducanu wearing a Grecian-inspired empire line gown from Dior at the premiere of the latest Bond film ‘No Time to Die’. “It felt heavenly!” exclaimed Raducanu, after slipping into the dress for the first time.

Speaking about her newfound association with Dior, Raducanu praised the unique design crafted by Chiuri and expressed her excitement about joining the iconic brand.

“Maria Grazia’s work empowers women to feel confident in the iconic Dior cut, which I feel is very unique. The sincerity of her approach and the way she turns shows into collective and meaningful events unquestionably influenced me in my choice,” Raducanu told VOGUE.

Recently, the 18-year-old also signed up to become an ambassador for luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. Since her US Open victory, Raducanu has graced the red carpet at Met Gala and attracted eyeballs at the London Fashion Week.

Earlier this month, Raducanu suffered a shocking defeat to Aliaksandra Sasnovich at the 2021 Indian Wells. Following her loss, she pulled out of this week’s Kremlin Cup in Moscow.

Up next, Raducanu will compete at the upcoming Transylvania Open in Romania, which begins next week. After parting ways with her coach Andrew Richardson, Raducanu will train with Esteban Carril, who played a pivotal role in Johanna Konta’s rise to Top-10 ranking.
