Call of Duty released Warzone on 10th March 2020, giving people something to take their minds off in the lockdown. The game did pretty well right in the first year as it topped over 85 million players at the end of 2020. Infinity Ward released the game on the PlayStation and Xbox for free, which allowed them to earn a handsome profit. Mind you, it was the company’s first attempt to release a free online game.?

Operation Monarch is ready for activation!

Recently, Call of Duty: Warzone dropped an event that we can hardly resist. Operation Monarch, a new game mode, is now available for play for the next few weeks. Infinity Ward introduced the game mode in the wake of the movie King Kong vs. Godzilla, that released last year. In this mode, players drop into the island of Caldera, where they are expected to survive the wrath of the two fictional monsters.?

Kong vs. Godzilla

In the game, Kong jumps across the land of Caldera, crushing players in his way. He then places himself throwing rocks and pounding his chest. On the other hand, the sea-monster Godzilla blows something from his mouth, killing players up to 50 meters away. Sounds fun, right? But here’s what they have done wrong.

Players across the world were expecting a big fight between the two monsters as that is what the original movie was. Unfortunately, that won’t be happening. The major issue of the event is that the duo isn’t the center of attraction. Now, you might think, why! Because you’re still dropping into the arena where other players are looking for a victory. So, you can’t enjoy watching Kong and Godzilla.

Overall, Operation Monarch looks good. So instead of judging the game over people’s opinions, it would be better to drop into the arena and find out for yourself!
