Neymar and S1mple finally meet in person

In an interview with Logitech from February 15, the NAVI superstar talked about famous celebrities who follow him. “Who else? Neymar. Yeah, he invited me to come to Paris, but I don’t have the time really,” he said. Well now, it looks like both Neymar and s1mple took time out from their busy schedules and met in person. Both of the legends met during the IEM Rio 2023, and they also queued some LAN matches together. And surprisingly, Neymer held his own among the high-level lobbies.

Neymar is not only a fan of CS:GO tournaments but also an avid gamer himself. He has started his Twitch channel and streams CS:GO on it. The soccer pro has regularly invited players like ZywOo, shox, and yuurih on his stream as well. This meetup was only possible for Neymar due to his unfortunate injury. He had injured his ankle in mid-February and got surgery in March.

S1mple got 26 kills and three assists in the 22 rounds played, while Neymar got 22 kills and six assists. This win was a nice break for s1mple, who recently slammed Virtus.pro for a player swap.

s1mple lashes out at Virtus.pro

s1mple has commented at Virtus.pro for changing a player in the middle of the European RMR. He had posted a series of voice messages on his telegram channel for this legal yet unfair change.

“I think they acted like pieces of sh*t,” s1mple said. “To change a player before an elimination match in a qualifier for a Major, pick up a sub, buy him tickets and still f*** up,” he further added.
