Marvel’s Avengers Drops Quirky Spider-Man Trailer Ahead of Eagerly Awaited Launch

Marvel’s Avengers will finally get another character addition as Spiderman joins the club! The web-slinger will arrive in the game on November 30 and this has got fans excited. Ahead of the launch, the reveal trailer for Spiderman in Marvel’s Avengers dropped and shows Crystal Dynamics’ take on Peter Parker for the first time.
The trailer does not show much gameplay footage but rather is a cinematic trailer. But this does give fans an idea of Spidey’s web-slinging, wall-crawling, and acrobatic capabilities.

Marvel’s Avengers give fans the first look at Spiderman character arriving in the game
Marvel teased about this trailer yesterday through a Twitter post asking fans to keep a lookout for the trailer on IGN’s YouTube channel. This announcement indeed gained traction as fans had been waiting for the web slinger’s introduction for a very long time.

Spiderman will be coming out as part of the With Great Power DLC and will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The trailer shows Spidey with his witty one-liners and acrobatic moves, slinging around the city and beating bad guys, quite typical of his character.

Besides this, Crystal Dynamics has been teasing a massive update for the game which will be out on all platforms – PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. Comicbook Gaming reports that the devs have been reworking and rearranging perks that will enhance the gaming experience with the November 30 update.
The major changes will be to the rewards for Omega Level Threat: Family Reunion and Status effects of gear for Heroes. A detailed patch report of the changes and perks is as follows:
- Status effects to gear for Heroes who are currently missing them have been added. This means Hulk will have Cryo Perks, Ms. Marvel will have Plasma Perks, and Iron Man will have Shock Perks for his weapons, with being perks being added to either Specialty gear from Vendors, Omega gear (for Hulk), or Hivemind gear.
- The rewards for Omega Level Threat: Family Reunion have been updated. More specifically, Omega Gear will now drop every mission. The gear in question won’t change a Hero’s Power Level, but it will allow players more chances to get the rolls they are after.
- The Minor Artifact awarded has been removed and replaced with Fragments as a part of the Resource rework.
- Several Perks have been updated where the specific trigger plays a bigger factor on the percent chance of a Perk activating.
