UFC welterweight fighter Stephen Thompson is gearing up for his next fight with former champion Gilbert Burns at UFC 264 on July 10, 2021. Wonderboy is on a two-match winning streak and would want a win against Burns to hope for a title clash opportunity going further.

In UFC, Thompson is more known for his fighting prowess rather than his trash-talking. He is also the holder of the inaugural UFC NMF belt. However, MMA is not the only love embedded in him. He likes to play video games when not in the ring or sweating it out in the gym, specifically Call of Duty (COD).

Recently, in a video, he was seen playing COD and was sharing an incident where he had trash-talked a kid while playing. “When it comes to gaming, I get into a competitive attitude man, at rage. Like my students, my kids, I don’t even tell them that I have a Twitch.”

“They don’t need to see me cussing the storm,” he added. He then revealed the incident where he had a go at a kid. “I had one of them actually watching because his parents play all the time, he’s like, ‘Mr. Stevens, you were saying some bad words’. I was like ‘shut the f**k up kid’.

“I’m scared- I didn’t say that.”

As one of the nicest guys around in UFC, Ariel Helwani gave him the title Nicest Mother F****r (NMF) in December 2019. It was an indirect take on the title which ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal was bestowed upon, the BMF (Baddest Mother F****r).

The recent record of Stephen Thompson

‘Wonderboy’ Thompson has been blowing hot and cold in his recent fights. Though he’s currently on a 2-match win streak, he had two back-to-back losses prior to that.

His recent fight happened in December last year against Geoff Neal in the headliner at UFC Fight Night 183. He won that fight via unanimous decision and received a performance of the night bonus. His last loss came against Darren Till at UFC Fight Night 130 in May 2018. He lost it via unanimous decision after the fifth round.
