Former Fortnite pro from OpTic gaming CouRageJD has a reason to be very thankful to MrBeast. It’s been four years since CouRage was able to win the $70,000 cash prize from that eventful Fortnite match. Even after these many days, CouRage will never forget this incredible gesture from MrBeast and Miniminter.

In a tweet, he once again thanks MrBeast and Miniminter for this donation, because of which his sister has now graduated with honors and is soon to become an elementary school teacher.

Before we delve more into CouRage and his sister’s latest update, let’s have a recap of how he pulled this feat off back in 2018.

The eventful episode occurred on August 3, when the two YouTubers approached CouRage discreetly while he was broadcasting to make an offer.

CouRage grasped up for the win despite having just 18 health points at the finish of the fight and was overtaken with pure delight and emotion once the large contributions began to emerge on stream.

As expected, his reaction was pure, adrenaline-fueled elation and happiness as he exclaimed in amazement and disbelief that he had just become $70,000 wealthier.

However, in MrBeast’s following video, CouRage was not the only one who received this offer. In reality, MrBeast and Miniminter approached a number of other streamers before CouRage, telling them that if they won their next Fortnite Solos battle, they would be rewarded handsomely.

But definitely, it was quite wholesome to see how he was able to pay off his sister’s student loans with the amount that he won. In the above tweet, we can see a clip of CouRage Facetiming his sister Kelly and telling his fellow ‘CouRageous’ viewers how proud he is of her.

CouRage has launched a new campaign to fund students with the CouRage Scholarship. This will be available for his high school’s students with 2 of them getting $1,000 to help with tuition costs.
