Anyone who thinks that an intelligent and smart man like Elon Musk will be a lover of chess, they have to think again. In fact, he’s just not into chess at all since, according to him, it’s a pretty simple game, to say the least. So what’s the favorite option for the SpaceX CEO to spend his valuable time?

Elon Musk prefers Polytopia over Chess!

People have been asking him about his favorite titles and he’s been more than responsive in providing them with interesting answers. However, AAA-level titles are not the only options for Elon Musk. He’s been into a mysterious game that’s made him very addictive, to say the least. He has even mentioned this title to be better than chess when it comes to making strategies. So much so that the Tesla co-founder recently reiterated his obsession with it once again while responding to a Twitter user.

Chess is no match for Polytopia, as per Mr. Musk

On Twitter, Elon Musk mocked chess, while replying to a tweet showing a live game of chess between two players. He believed that there’s nothing complex about chess especially in terms of creating mind-blowing strategies.

When a user asked him, in the thread, if he still plays it or not, he wrote this: “Only 64 squares, no fog of war, no tech tree, only a few different pieces, no random spawn. Chess is a simple game. I prefer Polytopia.”

In case anyone is not aware of it, The Battle of Polytopia is made by Swedish company Midjiwan AB. In this strategy title, players take on the role of one of the sixteen tribes to build an entire empire while defeating the opponents in a low-poly, square-shaped world. Polytopia was launched six years ago in 2016.

Simply put, players have to make sure they gain as much control of the territory as possible on the map. Elon has time and again showered praises on this online title due to its design. Thanks to its growing popularity, Polytopia has succeeded in winning many awards as well. Also, it’s available in Tesla’s multimedia system in their cars.
