According to Statista blogs, PS4 managed to generate 65% of total PlayStation revenue surpassing PS5. The PS5 has sold 22.75 million units in 22 months, while the PS4 sold 25.31 million units.

According to one of the VGChartz blogs, ” The PS4 crossed 30 million units in month 25, 40 million units in month 31, and 50 million in month 38. The PS4 has sold 116.99 million units to date.” Indeed, several fans got surprised after learning about the actual sales comparison between PS4 and PS5.

Even though PS5 offers more features and a better experience, why is PS4 ahead of the new-gen console in terms of the sales revenue? Let’s find out.

Moreover, several users also love to collect old popular consoles in their collection.
