This is great news for the fans of Sega’s blue blur. It was pretty hard for Sega to find success when they developed multiple 3d games for numerous platforms. Almost all of those games were critical and commercial failures.

Sega’s latest game Frontiers can be credited with successfully bringing the character to a 3d plain. This game proved to be something that fans are addicted to. Its success is such that it has an overwhelmingly positive review score on its steam page.

Previously it was announced that the developers would now be making more games in line with Frontiers as they now know what fans want and they seem to have broken the code for an open-world 3d sonic game.
