Developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts launched Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for consoles and PC in 2019. Fans defined it as a Souls game set in the Star Wars universe. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order earned a lot of praise from critics. The game went on to sell more than 10 million copies by 2020.

This was the kind of success that at the time Electronics Arts was not expecting a single-player game to have. But when it did, they were quick to green-light the sequel Respawn Entertainment pitched to them.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is closer to launch than expected

When EA announced the new Star Wars game, they did not give fans any probable launch date for it. Many just thought that this game would probably take a while before it launches.

But it seems like fans would not have to wait till The Game Awards to know when this game launches. Yesterday, the official steam page of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor revealed the game’s launch date to be March 15, 2023. They were quick to remove the said date from their page, but the information was out.

Other than that, the game’s pre-order bonuses and its system requirements have been revealed to the internet. So, all that remains now is for fans to see how this game actually looks and plays.

Jedi: Survivor is getting Blaster Combat and fans are thrilled!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would also be getting Blaster Combat this time around. It has been revealed by the pre-order bonus material that shows players would be getting new skins for their Blaster. This new leak has fans super hyped for the game.

This might be a significant change for the new installment because its gameplay is mostly melee-focused. And adding Blasters means Respawn Entertainment has probably overhauled the gameplay in order to keep it challenging even after adding these projectile weapons.
