The Spider-Man exclusives on PlayStation are finally coming for PC users! After a long wait and a lot of anticipation, this news was confirmed by the Insomniac Games at the latest State of Play held this month.

This game was made in partnership with Marvel in 2018  and has become a stalwart within the gaming community. The PC versions will be remastered, with the original game releasing on August 12, and Miles Morales following right after.

Following this, the five-year-old famous tweet of Insomniac Games making it a permanent PS4 exclusive blew up immediately. This was a hilarious issue amongst the fans and they are seen reacting to the same on Twitter.

Insomniac Games, a subsidiary of Sony, notably announced in 2017 that their Spider-Man game will be a “permanent PS4 exclusive” that would “never appear on Xbox or PC.” Spider-Man Remastered will be released on August 12th, 2022, while Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released in the fall, according to Sony.

Despite the “never” tweet, Sony’s purchase of Nixxes, a firm recognized for porting games to PC, made a Spider-Man port appear a lot more possible.

Nixxes undertook the work, with the goal of “creating the best possible PC experience that takes advantage of all the exciting possibilities the PC platform has to offer,” according to the company.

As previously stated, Spider-Man Remastered will be released on August 12th, followed by Spider-Man: Miles Morales in the autumn. More details on both games will be released closer to their release dates.
