The Team Trees donation won many hearts and Jimmy’s was amongst the many. On many occasions, he has voiced his way of looking up to Musk and his sincere outlook toward using the resources for a better cause. Moreover, he had admitted to choosing Musk over world billionaires like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.

While calling him a ‘GOAT’ on the FLAGRANT podcast, MrBeast appreciated Musk for using the resources to innovate technology, and also appreciated his idea of making a chip for the brain which could facilitate communication without speaking words. Comparing it with Bezos’ $600,000,000 boat purchase, he gave his reason to put Musk above all.

MrBeast asking Elon Musk for Twitter and getting a billion-dollar promise

Out of all the news that trended in 2022, Musk buying Twitter was totally hitting the charts. The rumor turned into a reality when Musk bought Twitter in a $44 billion deal. And one thought that struck the fans was the deal that MrBeast and Musk had. In May 2022, Musk tweeted, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

Following this, MrBeast asked, “If that happens can I have Twitter.” To this, Musk agreed and largely the idea of Musk handing over Twitter to MrBeast was the accepted idea in the community. Since then, the community has been stirring the idea of Musk handing over Twitter to MrBeast.

Things got a bit cold, but something was brewing between Elon Musk and Twitter

Musk taking over the role of CEO of Twitter wasn’t one that was unanimously accepted in the community. There were some prevailing issues that clouded his move and one that shook the community was the layoffs. As the businessman was settling into his office and accommodating to the new environment with a new team, he took some major steps.

In November 2022, Twitter employees were denied entry to their offices which lead to people speculating about the ‘end of Twitter’. “#RIPTwitter” became trending as many streamers and influencers voices their ideas about the sudden move.

MrBeast gives ideas on how to change Twitter forever

In the midst of this, Musk had been avidly replying to tweets on the platform and providing information about the occurring developments. One development that caught the attention of MrBeast was the re-introduction of ‘Vine’ on the platform. Vine was a service on Twitter that led people to share short videos with people.

To this development, MrBeast gave his first-hand reviews on how the service could be made beneficial for the platform and the creators worldwide. However, no development has been seen around it as of yet. But surely the exchange of comments did display the high regard that the two share for each other’s opinion.

Angry users ask Musk to leave Twitter and get criticized by MrBeast as well

Now, Musk’s entry as the CEO of Twitter wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. The sudden changes took the community by surprise leaving the crowd divided. Some appreciated the changes some went against them. Moreover, Jimmy too had voiced his disagreement with Musk over a change.

Musk had rolled out a question poll about his stepping down as the Twitter CEO. To the tweet, MrBeast responded by saying, “If you’re going to keep doing stuff like this, yes. 🤮.” He further hinted at the “stuff” to be the policy of the removal of any free promotion of prohibited third party social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, and many others.

This was a time when the community saw MrBeast voicing against Musk. Nevertheless, the friendship wasn’t harmed in any way as the two understood the significance of voicing views for the goodwill of each other.

MrBeast again asks for Twitter and this time it was almost real

While the disagreement didn’t turn into something serious, the friendship went on. On multiple occasions, Jimmy and Musk were seen sharing opinions and suggesting each other ideas to motor their ideas for a better outcome. Since the rumors of Musk leaving his role on Twitter were already prevalent in the community, MrBeast did spark an interest in the CEO role.

He asked Musk, “Can I be the new Twitter CEO?” To this, the Twitter chief replied, “It’s not out of the question.” Thus, one can say that the idea is still on the table and could probably be put to use, depending on the future. Surprisingly, MrBeast has already voiced his “first order of business” if he happens to become the Twitter CEO, to say the least.

Yet to see what transpires in the future

“Twitter Super Official CEO”, says MrBeast’s Twitter bio at the time of writing. This had already sent ripples of excitement in the community as the fans believed the much-awaited day had come. However, the absence of any official announcement negates the idea of Jimmy being the Twitter CEO.

Nevertheless, the young star does uphold the idea of seeing himself as the Twitter CEO. And seeing his capabilities in the industry and a dear bond with Musk, one could be excited to see how the two shape their future on Twitter.
