MrSavage, one of the Fortnite OGs, has voiced his opinion to people that trash-talked about the game, and it looks like he’s nonchalant.

Since its official release in 2017, Fortnite has been one of the most-played games on this planet. From three-year-old kids to 80-year-old people, all have enjoyed the game thoroughly. And why wouldn’t they? Epic Games collaborated with multi-billion dollar franchises, celebrities, brands, and a lot more to bring all their favorites under one roof.

Still, there was a handful who couldn’t stop criticizing the game from time to time. One of the biggest backlashes that Fortnite received was the time when users considered it a ‘kids’ game’ and nothing more. So, the pros had to walk in and defend it as they understood the pressure and hard work put in to reach a certain level.

So, Luckyhad to ask for Martin’s opinion about one of the most debatable questions of the Fortnite industry. “People have criticized Fortnite as a kid’s game, so what would you say to these critics?” For starters, MrSavage had a very calm tone while answering the question with a ‘care-free’ attitude. He responded saying, “There’s a lot of kids playing… I think it’s fair, but it’s unnecessary to hate on it without reason because we all played it. Everyone played Fortnite at one point basically.”

Hearing this answer, the video game journalist dropped a hot question asking Savage about his Fortnite earnings. And throughout his journey, he claimed to have bagged over $400k – 500k up until now. Plus, he’s just 18 at the moment, with a long way to go. So, calling one of the most popular games a ‘kid’s game’ was something that he barely bothered to hear.

Last but not least, MrSavage started Fortnite during the time it was almost at its peak. Every day, the community witnessed the birth of a pro. Despite that, he bagged half a million dollars, which seems nothing but remarkable. And we all know how competitive current Fortnite is, so hating on it doesn’t seem like the right choice.
