“A Little Too Much For Me” – Last Of Us HBO Series Actor Pedro Pascal Almost Barfs Recalling His Most Unsavory Moment of The Series

Actors of the upcoming highly anticipated HBO series, The Last of Us, based on the game of the same name, shared their thoughts on the iconic zombie enemies of the series. The main lead of the show, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, has some distinct and somewhat contrasting opinions about these ‘monsters’ that hunt them in the series. 

The Last of Us is an action-adventure gaming series, first released back in 2013. This critically acclaimed gaming franchise is now adapted into a television series by HBO. The main characters of the stories Joel and Ellie are to be played by ‘The Game of Throne’ actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

The LoU games are much more than just adrenaline-pumping action games. The dark dramatic themes and serious character studies of these interactive stories made them great examples of the modern art of storytelling. After a lot of development hell and struggles, the fantastic chronicle created by Neil Druckmann is finally getting a big-screen adaptation by HBO.

These monsters inevitably made their way to the television series and the impressions that the actors had, seeing them for the first time, was interesting, to say the least. When asked about the Clicker,Pedro expressed that even though he likes scary stuff, these freaks were “a little too much” for him.

“You were very grossed out by them,” seeing her co-actor barf with disgust, the young Bella Ramsey exclaimed. Her opinions on these monsters were a little different compared to Pedro’s. She said, “I found them sort of beautiful. That’s what was scary, actually. I think the beauty that they had, that was what was terrifying.”

Pedro described the clickers as “a monstrous, floral nightmare”. Ramsey added to Pedro’s take, saying, “The whole fungus, [the] Cordyceps infection, is based on science. Theoretically, it’s possible, and that’s what’s also terrifying.”

Fans will get to judge if the Clickers in the series are as terrifying as the actors are playing it to be, after the release on January 15, 2023, on HBO Max.
