Pokimane shared bought how unbothered she has become by criticism

In a recent interview with Centennial World, Pokimane shared how “desensitized” she has become to the surrounding hate. However, she also admitted that there were “a lot of things that were difficult for me to get through”. In her career spanning a duration of ten years, the streamer has been constantly under fire from critics. Furthermore, a lot of the time, being a celebrity streamer has caused her trouble too. In 2022, she got mingled in a misogynistic situation.

Her most recent fight with another Twitch streamer also made the news. All these controversies, coupled with the recent debacle with xQc, have landed her in a corner. But Poki has still kept a positive outlook on the future. The idea she devised to stop the hate from affecting her was to meet like-minded people.

Because if there’s anything that you experience relating to being a female in the industry in particular, they will be the ones who understand and reassure you and validate you the most. And that is so necessary in order to process and move past those things.” And she definitely has made multiple female friends, like Valkyrae and Fuslie, throughout her career.

Furthermore, Pokimane has also some personal projects coming to her loyal fans in the near future. While she has not offered to tell fans what those offers were, they surely will be something great looking at her multi-faceted talents.
