Well, with the announcement of Venom joining Sony’s marvel gaming verse, the developers did provide the best possible cushion for the game. And following the series of speculations on the project, a source has now taken to twitter, now known as X, to state another major announcement is inbound.

PlayStation CEO coming up with a mysterious surprise on Spider-Man 2? 

While fans have crowned the title as PlayStation’s Trump Card for 2023, there’s a lot at stake for Sony with the giant launch. Thus, the branding has been dealt with quite strategically by the makers. However, it cannot be denied that the speculations have also majorly contributed to the hype built around Spider-Man 2. Amidst all the claims, a leaker has confirmed the alleged date of the announcement. The next big revelation on the game is set to come on Monday, September 11. 

According to the source, Jim Ryan, the CEO of PlayStation, will be making a massive revelation on the upcoming exclusive. The source had earlier made predictions regaridng the game, which were later confirmed by the developers officially. For context, the scooper had claimed the makers had made some changes in the styling of characters like Mary Jane Watson and Yuriko Watanabe, which eventually turned out to be true.

The leak has certainly sparked a wave of excitement among the community. It has given invitations to a lot of fan theories for what’s to come. The announcement is expected only in a matter of hours. However, the fan theories did add to the curiosity of the gameplay. 

The most common assumption that has been made by the fans is new footage possibly revealing new features or a new character of the Spidey universe. An introduction to a new state of play also seems likely.
