Something similar happened recently when a player of a very popular entry in The Witcher series revealed a fresh perspective of enjoying the wild open world of this universe. To be precise, they shared a stunning transition made by a mod in one of the most famous Witcher titles ever.

The Witcher 3 first-person mod completely changes the game for real!

CD Projekt Red came up with the first-ever Witcher offering more than a decade ago in 2007. Thanks to the amazing design and overall storyline featuring a rich lore, the main trilogy has been well-received by the majority of the players.

Much of the credit for this popularity also goes to the third-person format used in the installments. It gives a lot more options to customize and witness one’s character in full glory. But what if CD Projekt Red made these hit games in first-person?

To be precise, a user on Reddit dropped a post showing them to be enjoying 2015’s blockbuster The Witcher 3, but in first-person mode. It wasn’t an official feature though. This person was trying out a mod made for the third installment in the franchise. It should come as no surprise as this specific entry has got thousands of mods due to the vast scope it has regarding its open world.

Coming back to the first-person mod GIF shared by the Reddit user, the game feels totally different after using it. More or less, it looks like a Resident Evil-themed title now.

There was no other video posted by this user, though. Hence, one can’t exactly give a verdict on the overall experience. But the user has called the unofficial mod a game changer and it will surely compel other players to try this out.
