Nintendo Switch is all set to get a successor in 2024. This is all but confirmed. Rumors, leaks, and even some industry insiders are discussing this upcoming console. Its power is one of the hottest topics amongst those anticipating its arrival.

The power of this console would dictate what kind of unique features and accessories would be available for this console. Recently there have been talks of some really interesting add-ons coming to the alleged Nintendo Switch 2!

Nintendo Switch is at the peak of popularity. Fans cannot get enough of this console and the games that are released on it. But it has almost lived its life to the fullest and its successor is already preparing for a banging entry!

A number of leakers and analysts have suggested that it would be powered by a custom Nvidia chip based on their Ampere architecture.
This architecture is also used in Nvidia’s popular 2000 series GPUs. It simply means that this new and upcoming console would be able to take advantage of DLSS to run games at a much higher resolution than the original Switch.

It also means that the console would be ray tracing enabled, and there is a possibility that gamers would see ray tracing in some upcoming Nintendo games.

The biggest and most exciting rumor that is floating around on the internet is a VR accessory for this console. This VR accessory appeared in a recent patent that Nintendo filed a while ago.

Aside from just giving players a VR game experience, this accessory would also allow a second player to be involved in the first-person game through their phone. It appears Nintendo is yet again trying to do something different in terms of how people play video games.

The patent in question actually represents a group of people playing some futuristic version of Nintendogs on this device. Let us make it very clear, companies patent things every now and then, they sometimes don’t even do anything with those patents.
