The Time-Traveling feature has its own pros and cons and it’s very easy to use. With the help of the Time-Traveling feature, users can go back into the future and past, in order to get early access to some event items available from Nook’s Cranny. Recently, a YouTuber was able to go back to 1999 by using the Time-Traveling feature.

This feature is accessible to players by changing their Nintendo Switch console settings. The creator changed their date and time to 12/31/1999 at 9:30 pm and time zone to Los Angeles, Vancouver. They also mentioned other regions’ locations and specific time setting for viewers to follow.
After changing their time settings, they traveled back to 1999 and has a lovely chat with Isabelle at Resident Services. Furthermore, they also celebrated the New Year and welcomed the year 2000 with their villagers.
