According to the Community, GTA 6 Launch Is Much Closer Than Expected

The overall reports and leaks have made the community believe the next-gen installment of Rockstar’s GTA series is almost at the finishing line. The online leakers and insiders have released over 90 screenshots and videos that are circulating on the world wide web. While the official developers have kept their mouths tightly shut regarding the game’s development. 

Grand Theft Auto aka GTA is one of the most well-known and influential gaming franchises in the world. This underworld crime simulator serves a massive community of fans and loyal followers who are always desperate for new information about the upcoming game and project in the GTA franchise. 

What is the release date of GTA 6?

There is no official confirmation about the release date of the 6th game in the franchise. However, the leaks and reports have teased that the potential release date of the game is 2025. But the common conscious belief that the original release date of the game could be much closer.

As reported by Gamespot, the leaks from industry insiders have teased that the game is almost at the finishing stages of development. The team behind the project is currently busy giving the final touches to it, then they will move on to ironing out the bugs and opening up a potential Beta for selected individuals.

GamesRadar also presented reports that showed the game is finished state and currently is in the bug-fixing stages. The reports tease that the game’s UI and many features are up and running. The only reason the release date hasn’t been announced is that the developers are still “polishing” the game. 

Ever since the leaks went live, Rockstar has been very cautious about the information regarding the game’s development. Head of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, had stated the leaks were “terribly” unfortunate. Even the dev team became very vocal in expressing their thoughts about the leaks, so much so that police arrested the hacker who leaked the contents.

But all the screenshots and videos that were revealed showcased a much bigger map, compared to the previous title, and potentially the first female protagonist of the franchise. Though none reveals had any official backing up, except the developer’s distaste, it was successful in hyping the community and making them believe the release of GTA 6 is much closer than ever.
