To someone who follows the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), this update will, somehow, sound as if the publisher has imbibed the approach mostly implemented by Disney’s billion-dollar franchise. The movies and TV shows are generally planned out in advance for what are referred to as Phases. Now, Activision is also seemingly going a similar route.

In the last twenty years, the COD series has gone through endless ups and downs. However, there’s never been a point where fans haven’t played a new game in the long-running shooter saga. What’s the next COD game release?
Modern Warfare III will be the upcoming new premium from Activision. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, it will be a direct sequel to the existing title MWII. It will continue the single-player story from last year’s blockbuster. This time, however, the series will witness a huge comeback of an iconic villain Vladimir Makarov. He will be the ultimate threat to the members of Task Force 141, led by Captain Price.
Apart from the Campaign, MWIII Multiplayer will be packed with tons of surprises. Fans will see the arrival of various classic movement mechanics as well as perks. Moreover, 16 remastered maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 are also coming back.
Oh, and there’s an open-world Zombies mode too. It will have players going against hordes of the undead. They will need to complete mission objectives while looting items and making successful extraction in the end. The mode will follow a PvE format.
