It looks like the situation of increasing Call of Duty games has become overwhelming for Activision. Maybe that’s the reason why it has recently revealed a new way to play CoD titles. The latest change, however, has been introduced specifically for PC players on Battle.net and Steam.

Simply put, the recently launched Season 5 update for Modern Warfare II and Warzone has rebranded the two games. At least, that’s the case with PC users. Going forward, they won’t have to think much about how to access their favorite entries. From now on, they will be located under one central location – Call of Duty.

Rebranded Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone are now called Call of Duty on PCs
Following the arrival of Season 5, the makers recently made an announcement. It mentioned that PC users can now enjoy CoD games from a single tab itself. “Going forward, future Call of Duty® titles can be played from the same tab on Battle.net. This should make deploying to the battlefield even more straightforward, so you and your squad can worry less about where to launch and more about how to score your next victory.”

In case anyone is having a confusion, the new change implies that a single tab will contain options to choose one’s preferred CoD game. And yes, this transition only applies to PC users for now. It’s unclear whether similar changes will come to consoles like PlayStation and Xbox or not. However, one can assume that this year’s rumored Modern Warfare III may also be a part of the existing CoD client. As for past entries, Black Ops 4, 2019’s Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard will continue to be accessed separately.
